I am much disturbed and disheartened to hear the untimely demise of Parliamentarian Noordeen Mashoor. He was a wealthy businessman but humble in his life. He was very generous in helping poor needy people. His sudden death is a great loss to the people of Sri Lanka.

On the demise of SLMC parliamentarian Noordeen Mashoor, my deepest sympathies to his wife , children and supporters. .
I met him several occasions whenever he visited Madinah for the sake of Sri Lankan expatriates community. He had commitment and dedication to serve the nation and his people..
His untimely passing is a great loss to the country and his people.
May the Almighty bless him with paradise and give the strength to his family to stand in this hour of sorrow.
