100 seasonal workers from Sri Lanka will land on Wednesday at Ben-Gurion Airport to assist Israeli farmers for 6 months, during the seasonal peak, the Jerusalem Post said.

The Interior Ministry’s Population, Immigration and Borders Authority (PIBA) is embarking on a pilot project that may fundamentally change how foreign workers are employed in the agriculture sector.

probably they were trained in handling weapons and sent to front lines in Israel or elsewhere where America is fighting a proxy war on behalf of Israel.

When Ariel Sharon visited USA he stated that Israel controls America, if u know what I mean. They control the financial industry n media as well. Sharon was an architect in the twin farm killings of ( SABAH n Shatiliya- Spell check) of more than 2000 ppl and was wanted by the world court. He never went to certain countries for fear of being arrested and produced at the HAGUE. He commanded full power BUT the creator has different agenda. Now he is just a vegetable and in a coma for more than 4 years. Lesson for ppl to realize there is something beyond our control and thats the power of the creator

Israel was the name given by Almighty God (Allah) to a holy prophet of Jews, Christians and Muslims - Jacob (Yakov or Yakoob). He was the grandson of Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim). Israel was a Nation for centuries, being ruled by Prophets, Judges, then Kings. The First King of Israel was King Saul. After Him was King David. Prophet Moses (Moosa Nabi) delivered people of Israel from Egypt and brought them to a land promised by God. All this was just a few thousand years before 1948.

The Israelis equipped the Sri Lankan Air force and the S/l Navy and never the LTTE. Israel is the ONLY democracy in the ME. And we as a Democracy country, Sri Lanka should further strengthen its relationship with the Jewish State which helped our hero's with military expertise and weapons, which according to government senior minister, they say that without the help of Israel, Sri Lanka would have not won the war against terror. Those who criticize this move by the SL government, are only traitors who hate this country. Every true Sri Lankan will support the Jewish State, which in other words is showing gratitude for all their support when SL needed it the most. Don't forget that Iran cheated SL on the oil deal, which resulted in our government paying more than it should be.

During the past few years, our girls and boys who worked in Saudi, Kuwait and other muslim countries suffered a lot, to the extend of having nails in their whole body. I have had the pleasure of working with Israeli people and I must say that they are very nice. Most importantly , they are honest workers who don't cheat or waste time on the job unlike most of us Sri Lankans. They have a very good work ethic. All the best to Israel

Everywhere there are problems. But we should not get involved. We are sending farmers not the army. Israel helped us with jets, boats, UAVs, etc. during the war. We cannot be ungrateful. I take a practical look at things.
