Professori GL is in a futile attempt to gather the 'spilt milk'. India seriously suspects Sri Lanka. The more we get closer towards China India will draw back farther.
Now Sri Lankans don't throw all hate words in reply. Loving one's country is one thing but foregtting the facts is lunatic.

This problem need to be solve. Like a thorn in our side. GOSL should push for solution even if people not happy with it. Somehow this problem need to be fix. Otherwise no progress for country will be seen and we will continue limping on one foot.

The expansion is not only about TN. But having Tamil speaking officers in the Chennai DHC office is a good thing. Idea is to try and mend fences, not shut them down completely. The expansion applies to all of India.

This move might antagonise Jayalalitha and other jokers in her kitchen cabinet. Better ask first Manmohan Singh if he has that woman's permission to go ahead or there will be screams and protests.

Yes ,It is better to have more consulates in big countries like India, China, Germany, USA, Britain and France. We must have at least one Embassy in each every country. (More consulates) Tourism & other Business promotions are easier.
