All together 580 children were admitted to the Nuwara Eliya, Lindula, Kotagala, Dickoya and Maskeliya Hospitals.

Too many such incidents are taking place.
Someone has to find a solution for this.

More important is whether samples of the food consumed have been forwarded for analysis to the Medical Research Institute in Colombo, and whether the food suppliers and food handlers have ben identified for action uhder the Food & Drugs Act. Penalising the hapless principals is idiotic.
