Mr. Fonseka at least now meditate & repent about the follies you committed to languish in jail. Please do not go by what others say, it is these others & your ego that dragged you to this shameful situation. You could have lived like a king after retirement. Deal only with your conscience. Do not cry over spill t milk nor make a further fool of your self.
Ravi Saturday, 17 December 2011 07:00 AM

It is sad some does not know what court martial means, if a soldier is found guilty in a court martial trial it is very difficult to get that person out, during war time the guilty will be shot dead. Mr. SF did a very grave mistake when he misused the tender procedures being an officer and a member of the tender board. He collaborated with his son in law who was one of the bidders. Now his son in law is in hiding, if he has not done any thing wrong with his father in law he should produce himself in court. Then everything will be cleared.
Aiyoo Sri Lanka Saturday, 17 December 2011 10:28 AM
I think MR should seek a pardon from SF for the wrongs done to him. When is that going to happen?
Raja Saturday, 17 December 2011 11:15 AM
You can't fight injustice with a faint heart - like Mandela & An Suu Kyi - never bow down to the lowly perpetrators of revenge and terror. You become a martyr sir.
Raja Saturday, 17 December 2011 11:18 AM
What stupidity is this Suren - never bow down to injustice. Fight to the end like you did the LTTE.
Guzban Saturday, 17 December 2011 11:36 AM
What ego? He is entitled to run for presidency. That is not ego, that is a right. And he can say things. MR has no right to avenge him like this for daring to contest in the presidential elections. Shame on the honarable justices who dismissed this case.
Conscience Saturday, 17 December 2011 12:11 PM
People know this before it being delivered - such is our country today!

So whats new when the judiciary is a lackey of the governing party? As long as this status quo remains, Justice will not be done.

For the sake of your children and wife obtain a pardon from MRand come out sir. Let God handle whether you or MR have done a wrong or not in his timing. But the country needs you out this hour and more importantly your family needs you out now. Just be humle. You will be exalted at right time. At this moment it is a waste to spend time in jail.

It was expected. The judges are under pressure and are paid handsomely. This verdict is null and void.
