The Prisons Department is providing adequate facilities to Sarath Fonseka that a prisoner is entitled to by law and he is not being mistreated, Prisons Department spokesman Kenneth Fernando told Daily Mirror online.

Claiming that no complaints have bee received regarding the treatment of Sarath Fonseka, the spokesman said that although some people claim that he is being mistreated, no such mistreatment as they alleged is taking place. (G.S) (Daily Mirror online)

Its really funny, as it was not heard from SF's mouth we can't believe whether he is ill treated or not, but one thing for sure, HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO STAND BEHIND THE BARS, as he saved this country from LTTE, which non could deny.

The fact of the matter is that NO prisoner should be ill treated while in custody. Rehabilitation yes, but No ill treatment.

There is no difference between the SF and other jail birds, they are all "birds of a feather...", so every body is treated equally. SF should have avoided this misery had he used his green card instead of using the UNP/JVP colours. At least now he must be regretting for joining the gang rejected by the people at previous elections.

He is just a prisoner like any other , must not give him anything more than others, He is already profiting to speak to media each time coming to courts , This must stop.
Each time when he open his ugly mouth he says some nonsense , Just crying each time demanding a luxury prison facilities.People dont care about him any more.He have to get used to prison , because he will get another 16 years for white flag story as a traitor.
