Several roads in Colombo including Horton Place, Thunmulla junction, Maradana, Soyza roundabout, Public Library junction, Olcott Mawatha and Armour Street have gone under water due to heavy rains, now being experienced in several areas in the country.

Bloemendal road, Aluthmawatha road, Cemetery roundabout in Borella, Koswatta junction have also gone underwater.

Who cares about Colombo anymore. The only city this government recognises in Sri Lanka is HAMBANTOTA. So...if Hambantota is not under water....who cares???

There is a pond during rainy days in the Galle Road soon after passing Wadiyamankada junction near Kalutara. I feel the RDA is busy with constructing highways but highly used roads like Galle road is not maintained properly...
