Selection committee resigns

The Selection Committee of the Sri Lanka cricket has handed in their letters of resignation to the Sports Minister, Chairman of Selection Committee Aravinda de Silva said today. 

De Silva said they would make an official statement to the media on this decision tomorrow.

The resignation of the committee follows the resignations of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena from their positions of captain and vice captain respectively

    Kumar gave a clear reason to why he is resigning. but with selectors resignation with out any reason, it is clear that there had been some political influence.
