The Chief Justice Mohan Peiris said that the case records in the Supreme Court would be computerized.

The Chief Justice made this remarks participating in a meeting at the Kekirawa Magistrate’s Court premises organised by the Bar Association of Kikirawa.

He said cases could be file before the Supreme Court electronically with the new system.

Mr. Peiris said everyone had a responsibility to safeguard the dignity of the judiciary.

He said that the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary should function within a single framework in order to get closer to the public. (LS)
