Ratmale Junior School Primary closed

The primary section of the Ratmale Junior School in the Matugama Education Zone was closed today when 67 students were reported to have contracted Mumps.

The Agalawatta MOH Dr. Prasad Liyanage who visited the school instructed the Principal to close the primary section immediately to prevent the spread of the disease. The Principal closed the classes from Grade 1-5 with permission from the Zonal Director.
