Anybody could complain against anybody. Arresting a person just because such a complaint made is not a thing we could approve in the democratic world today. In this way no Sri lankan is safe and cannot go about without fear like in terror days.
Will any lady give Rs 1.0 Million to the intended bridegroom?

The comments by some of readers, give enough reasons for the rest of the world to call us third world countries. Some people in Sri Lanka still says that their blood is green. It is a shame,if any person dose some good for the country we all should appriciate ,or otherwise we should condem. If our legal system condems a person for his or her crimes we should learn to be satisfied, insted of his party politics. If Mr.Ranjan is innocent he will be free.So dear reader, do not try to make political gains on these isseues. As a buddhist I belive in action and reaction.
    Dilip.

It is possible she has a crush on Ranjan and had high hopes of marrying him but Ranjan wasn't serious about marriage. She was disappointed and decided to defame him by this false allegation. Truth will come out at the end.
Until then it's a one sided story.

Mohan Bandara Saturday, 16 October 2010 12:55 AM
