Rail track on fire
More than hundred railway sleepers were destroyed due to a fire in the railway track between Saliyapura and Bandarapuliyankulama, Anuradhapura area this afternoon.
The Train services were interrupted for a short time due to the fire.
Senior officer of the railway control room stated that they have taken steps to deploy a team to repair the track. (Rohana Chandradasa)
