The main suspect in the Rs. 10 mn robbery in Slave Island recently had been arrested by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) yesterday.

Filing a fact report before the Colombo Fort Magistrate the CCD informed that the main suspect who left the country soon after the robbery incident was arrested yesterday while returning to the country.

The suspect is currently held under CCD custody for further questioning, CCD said. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
