This does not refer to the US trip Only, but overseas trips. Of course out of all must be the highest number of delegation. What a waste of money on a mission ineffective and unproductive.
MK Wednesday, 29 September 2010 09:51 AM
Obamas entourage does not need to book hotels in NY since its his own home country. he just needs to get to his chopper and get to the white house once he is done. silly arguments

Wasantha Wednesday, 29 September 2010 05:55 AM
Do not know whether he is in happy mood or not. However he was not called to have a photograph with Obama, that means MR has to think twice before comment on matters pertinent to international affairs with special reference to US.
B.B. Marasingha Wednesday, 29 September 2010 05:23 AM

Anything gain with the so much of tourists taken to NYC. Please do not waste public funds like this for whims and fancies. Use these money to build rail gates to avoid accidents and save lives of innocent people. During last month 5 people die including a child near 18th Post rail gate in Katunayake. Wish our rulers will act wisely in future.
don Wednesday, 29 September 2010 03:35 AM

what a extravaganza ? what a show off ? what a waste for 20 minutes talk addressing to almost empty chamber. 100 jumbo entourage 4 floors booked at most expensive hotel in NY (when Obama`s entourage booked only 1 floor ) Limousines first class airfares other extravagances ,sight seeing This is what do you call abuse of power. If president and close advisers and family less than 20 We don`t mind. This is obscene waste when countrymen suffering.
I am not impressed President.
