Hirunika Premachandra, the daughter of slain Presidential Advisor Baratha Lakshman Premachandra met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees this morning.

The meeting was coordinated by Minister Rajitha Senaratne, a longstanding friend of Baratha Lakshman Premachandra.

During the meeting the president had inquired about her wellbeing and her career plans.

The president had reportedly told her to beware of falling prey to “bankrupt politicians”.
