The Chief Minister was airlifted to a private hospital in Colombo from Batticaloa for treatment for dengue fever last week, party sources said.
Chandrakanthan had been treated at the Batticaloa Base Hospital for three days but had to be moved to Colombo after his condition worsened. (JN)
