The Outpatient Departments (OPD) of the government hospitals will be open till 8.00pm from tomorrow, as the initial step of the government’s plan to keep them open for 24 hours, officials said.  The OPD’s are currently operational till 4.00pm. (KB)

    This might be a landmark achievement on the instance of the president I think, but it should be round the clock as he recommended; this is one of the peace dividends after the phone call rates reduction, such steps I think, eases the public and the benefit is keenly felt; the local phone calls to the service organizations should be completely withdrawn. The right of information should be strengthened; no official acknowledges an e-mail even!

    Do you know that doctors are paid over time for working extra hours. So no need to increase thier salaries as thier hard work will be paid.
