NPC Opposition leader arrested over Delft murder

Northern Provincial Council EPDP Opposition leader K. Kamalendran was arrested by the CID over the murder of the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman, Police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said.

The slain Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman’s wife was also arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting the murder along with Opposition leader K. Kamalendran’s office assistant London Sasindran, Police said

The chairman of the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha Daniel Rexigan was found dead at his residence on November 26.
