All media institutions were advised by the Elections Commissioner not to report on propaganda meetings or publish any other material relating to the election after midnight on 23rd January in accordance with the election laws.
The 48 hour period will provide an atmosphere for the voters to consider policies and promises made by the candidates, the Elections Chief further said. (GS)
