No changes to post of 8 PS Chairman: SC

The Supreme Court made an order today that no changes should be made to the post of Chairman in eight Pradeshiya Sabhas until March 31, 2014 where the budgets presented by those respective Pradeshiya Sabhas were defeated.

    This is wrong. what the Supreme Court ordered was to maintain the status quo (present situation) until 31st March 2014. Therefore, the Preadeshiya Sabha's where the Vice Chairman is acting as at today can continue to function as Acting Chairman.
