New abuse claim

A 52 year old Sri Lankan maid claims to have been subjected to abuse by her employers in Kuwait who had reportedly drugged her and made her ill.

The maid, A.R Somawathie, who recently arrived in Sri Lanka, is receiving treatment at the Kegalle hospital. Somawathie, who lived in a room with 5 others in Kuwait since 2004 says that her employer is originally from Sri Lanka.
