Most of the citizens are fools, whether you like it or not.
Otherwise how do they blindly vote at election time.
Ananda HerathHerath Tuesday, 14 September 2010 08:31 PM

He had asked for trouble anyway. Serves him right.
Ananda HerathHerath Tuesday, 14 September 2010 08:32 PM

Ananda HerathHerath Tuesday, 14 September 2010 08:33 PM
What if lightening struck the pole ? Then the protester would have had to do a pole vault ...
Ananda HerathHerath Tuesday, 14 September 2010 08:33 PM
so he can do no 1 and 2 in it, if the need arises.
Ananda HerathHerath Tuesday, 14 September 2010 08:36 PM

Dayaratne Wednesday, 15 September 2010 01:57 AM
What were the police doing while the original scaffolding was put up, and then the Rajapaksa scaffolding against election election laws was erected nine months ago? Also, who now is the Elections Commissioner?
Roshan Wednesday, 15 September 2010 03:53 AM
Now this type of suicide attempt will continue for sometime in other places. This is the trend in SL.
Gamaya Wednesday, 15 September 2010 04:10 AM

sltk200404 Tuesday, 14 September 2010 12:34 PM
What if it rains now?
Concerned Citizen Tuesday, 14 September 2010 12:03 PM
I am sure a lot of people have varied opinions on what this young man is doing. ...but assumptions are the route cause to all evil. What if he has some genuine issues – it is better to hope and pray he comes down safely without having to die or go to prison for that matter. He may actually need some help and he has the right to that.
Podi Guru Tuesday, 14 September 2010 01:26 PM
I agree. The cynicism and nastiness of many comments around this event suggest a deep problem.
Appuhamy Tuesday, 14 September 2010 01:28 PM
Court Martial him.....
Appuhamy Tuesday, 14 September 2010 01:29 PM
This is a major conspiracy to discredit the Government.
Mohamed Tuesday, 14 September 2010 01:33 PM
Definitely he will not jump nor will MR come. I am sure.
Ibnu Batuta Tuesday, 14 September 2010 01:57 PM

Josh Tuesday, 14 September 2010 02:17 PM
in what way was the man trying to help??
and what were the police doing until he climbed all the way up?? couldnt they stop him before?
what is this madness??
bandara Tuesday, 14 September 2010 02:30 PM
he can be freed with a compensation for his arrest time. he was just trying to establish electronic communication with the man on the frame. Judges wont see anything wrong in this.
