Please . . . enough missery why are you reporting this as a news . . ..
Shamali Tuesday, 09 October 2012 12:18 PM
Didn't the major inform court under oath that he had gone to check on a drug dealer and that he had reported so to his immediate senior? Probably the drug dealer is the Ecstasy provider MS. Was that a lie? If this is the kind of judgements that one can get from the Army's court of inquiry, no wonder they threw SF behind bars.
Shocking Tuesday, 09 October 2012 10:03 AM

Sadly some people are blind to the fact that law and order actually prevails well today, comparing to the 80s and 90s. They are also blind to the evident efforts made to safeguard law and order by the Army, Police and Civil defense Force, with Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapakse at helm. This incident stands as proof that the Army is not given the authority to hide their lapses, as it surely would have happened in the past.

Also Major has dropped his gun to the floor and bashed his head against the wall. The report also suggest to take expert skills of Mr. Malaka into training the armed forces in future. All Future intelligence work to be reported to Dr. Silva for pre approval.
Nihal Amarasekera Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:28 AM
Major insult to a respected army.
Sumithi Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:34 AM
Yep better to do Narcotic Investigations as a desk job isnt it? Major and now his replacement officers should contact the DR. and his Son in future investigations. Or ended up banging their own heads in hotel walls.
Hal Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:30 AM
So now what about the big talk of "Ranawiru" where pregnant mum offer their seat in train and buses. Ha!
KP Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:35 AM
Major at fault! He was not on duty. And that justfies Malaka can assualt him? what a law??? Can MSD provide security to Malaka? Were MSD officers on duty at the time? what action will be taken against them? It seems more Qs than As!
Vimal Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:34 AM
When a normal citizen says something about the army that person is a traitor and supporter of terrorists. But when a politian's son beats up someone in the army he is not at fault. So just because the major is at fault the duchebag is free? Did the major beat himself up?
Achcharu Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:39 AM
I suppose this is what the CCTV tapes have revealed n all.. But why didnt the Civil hearing reveal all these I wonder?
Apsara Tuesday, 09 October 2012 09:57 AM
