UNP provincial councillors Shiral Lakthilake and Maithri Gunaratne together with eight others were remanded today. The Nugegoda magistrate ordered that they be remanded till January 2, 2012 as a result of the commotion that took place last evening at the UNP party headquarters last evening.

Being lawyers if they behave like this imagine the way they will rule the country if they are in power.Part of the blame for yesterdays problems is a private tv channel which didn't have any ethics when broadcasting news regarding the opposition leader.

If they have done their protest peacefully they would not have to face this. If they behave like mob attackers how can we give them the ruling powers? This is not a revange at all.
