A luxury bus service will commence from next near on the Southern Expressway, Director (operations) of the expressway B.D.K. Bandara said
This decision was taken at a meeting between the Sri Lanka Transport Commission and the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) which was held at the Road Development Authority yesterday.
Four buses with 48 seats each from the Sri Lanka Transport Board and the National Transport Commission will be provide as the first step.
He further said, that according to the requisitions of the passengers the buses can arrange to pick up passengers from the entrance of the station - Kottawa to Galle. (Buddika Kumarasiri)

After starts the SLTB & Private bus on the expressway. there are more deaths in the road way.need more accident wards on the highway. not allow more the 24 seats vehicle's.

don't allow the buses to load/unload at the entry/points. This should be at another location otherwise the buses will block and create traffic jams

Picking passengers at the entrance is not the correct way,either from a Rail-station, or bus station is the mostsuitable way.

Employ specially trained drivers to maintain the quality. Don't let the 'terror on the roads" reign on E01, like in other roads.
