them because politically TN is an important player in been
re-elected. They also need SL as an friend regionally.
Therefore, they are not sincere. Usually, I would've
agreed that India is on our side, but the political situation
is such that I believe that they did not vote for us during the

Funny, last time I checked tamils in Col 3,4,5,6,11,12 etc were all living in dignity and as equals with the rest of the Sri lankans. Tamils in the north and east may still, unintentionally, have issues because its only 3 years since the war ended.

Rubbish Man. Read between lines, what they saying is, LTTE is stil active so we didnt defeat them. In Sri Lanka we dont have a threat but the country with fouth largest army in the world is concern. Indira nurtured them and Rajiv paid with his life. After the assasination of their PM they banned the terror grp until then they cuddled the beasts day and night.

It is not India that will be cause of the revival of something like LTTE. It will be Sri Lanka that will be the cause. It will be the same policies that gave rise to the LTTE in the first place Before blaming India for the LTTE look at what Sri Lanka did to create the condition which gave rise to its emergence. Has anything changed? No. If any it has got worse for the Tamil people. Taking away their land, chasing them away from their own paddy fields and coastal villages you expect them to put up shut up.
