Referring to the remarks of former LTTE leader Kumaran Pathmanathan on the role some politicians from Tamil Nadu in the efforts to arrive at a ceasefire in Sri Lanka's war against the LTTE, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said Pathmanathan has to explain the facts relating to the war.
Karunanidhi pointed out that KP had contended that MDMK leader Vaiko had stood in the way of a ceasefire.
Quoting KP, he also said that Mr.Vaiko influenced a change in the decision of the LTTE leadership to enter into a ceasefire because if a peace process began, then the DMK and Congress would get credit for such a development.
Also, CPI (M) MLA K. Mahendran had contested the part in which KP had stated that it was Mahendran who conveyed to Vaiko that the LTTE wanted to enter into a dialogue with the Sri Lankan government. It was up to KP to clarify this, he said. (Hindu)
'Desha Premi" titles are up for sale. KP has bought one. Nothing will ever be mentioned about all his ships, bank accounts etc.

KP is an honoured State Guest. He need not explain. The Rajapakses have been told everything in confidence. Moreover it is said KP has money to buy anyone.

These things should discussed in a open forum by KP, Vaiko, Nediyavan, Castro and Karunanidhi. Then only will people know what sought roll have they taken part in LTTE and why exactly they play that particular roll. Then only we can show to the world so called diaspora s nakedness.

This is what happends at the end when you poke you finger into other affairs, rather than looking after their interests. KP has no choice whatsoever, but has become a mouth piece.
Ranjana Tuesday, 24 August 2010 06:54 AM
