Tamil Nadu actor-turned-politician Vijayakant accused former TN Chief Minister Karunanidhi (DMK) of letting LTTE Leader Prabhakaran die, the Hindu reported.

He claimed that the planned Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation (TESO) conference would serve no purpose since the DMK as the ruling party did nothing to protect Sri Lankan Tamils during the last phase of war in Sri Lanka.

“It was the ruling party; and Mr. Karunanidhi was the Chief Minister. He did nothing and allowed LTTE leader Prabhakaran to die. What is the point in organising TESO now? He has never been consistent in his stand. In the beginning he said Tamil Eelam was his objective. Now he has gone back on his stand,” he alleged.

Did K'nidhi really abandon Prabhakaran? Well, then, thank you Mr. Karunanidhi, for the favour.

    Mr. B Wijeyasingha Tuesday, 31 July 2012 08:23 PM

It is never too late. Vijyakant can become the new leader for TESO and facilitate the relocation of Sri Lankan Tamils to their ever loving Tamil Nadu. No one in Sri Lanka will miss them.

If Tamils want a separate state it should be non other than the TamilNadu. So now is the time for TamilNadu to separate from India. Find your own "Prabhakaran" in TN.

Not only karunanidhi, nobody in the world could have stopped prabakaran being killed. because many tried very hard. even the worlds super powers.

Aney Machang Tuesday, 31 July 2012 03:44 AM

The whole world wanted Prabakaran to die, life is very peaceful for the Tamils all over the world after his death.

    powerless Monday, 30 July 2012 10:01 PM

This is an indication that the Tamils have lost all hope with India.
