JVP to contest the local government poll under the bell symbol, the party leader Somawansa Amarasinghe told a press conference a short while ago.

Local government bodies were dissolved at midnight last night. For the Presidential election the JVP supported General Fonseka under the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) Swan symbol. (YP)
