    KHK Friday, 18 March 2011 06:12 PM

The JVP never understood the mindset of the common man and they probably never will. Honesty, and up-rightness are not the only criteria that people vote for.

    Shantha Friday, 18 March 2011 06:36 PM

to be eradicated from the planet

Ruwan, Canada Friday, 18 March 2011 03:15 AM

Congratulations !!! JVP cannot fool people forever. We know how they behaved at the time of war, organised big protests and strikes. Is that the responsibility of a political party? JVP should be eleminated from the universities. Thank you Tissa Voters! You know who protected our nation from terrorism. Aho Devidath Noditi Mokpura.

Rough Justice Friday, 18 March 2011 03:28 AM

Agree. JVP and UNP should be forced to disband. Help our great President to develop SL fast by demanding suspension of all opposition parties.

    LLion Friday, 18 March 2011 03:35 AM

Happy to see that one of the southern extremist got defeated. When are we going to defeat Ambanthota extremist?

    DHA Friday, 18 March 2011 03:47 AM

Gayan Samarasekara Friday, 18 March 2011 03:50 AM

Yes, your point is valued to a certain extent. JVP amongst its bizarre set of wrongdoings, topped the irresponsibility soon after to disperse the democratically elected UNP regime just in two years of office by then. If it was UNP, the war could have been ended in a more agreeable manner while getting country exonerated from the allegation of civilian causalities. Because the life is more valuable than the land.

    Tilvin Friday, 18 March 2011 03:43 AM

JVP thought this is Libiya. Thye ara totally misguided.

    Thush Friday, 18 March 2011 03:57 AM

Very good... It's pay bakc time for JVP for their betrayals

    Ha-Ha Friday, 18 March 2011 03:47 AM

obsolete political party , people are well informed and more educated these days, they don't buy defunct ideologies, theories, etc.

    Ananda Friday, 18 March 2011 04:02 AM

JVP is a bankrupt and useless political party in SL which still dying to come to power by hook or crook.. They should give up politics and start farming!

    Ari Friday, 18 March 2011 04:02 AM

This is no surprise at all! Over time, JVP has dragged themselves into an irredeemably messy situation through their obviously irrational actions. People have scanty respect for them.

    mahe Friday, 18 March 2011 04:02 AM

Yes JVP pay for the damage done to the country.

    UPFA Friday, 18 March 2011 03:07 AM

Hooo Hooo Jepponta meda para epa ne ! okunta ohoma wela madi !

from the that our bright and intelligent students can study in peace....

Get the JVP out of the Unions.....
so that Unions can support the workers...
not be forced into political strikes...

Next Media conference...hear JVP leadership explain...
that this was in fact a Great Victory,,,,!!!

    WIMAL Friday, 18 March 2011 04:31 AM

    Ranjith Friday, 18 March 2011 04:33 AM

    It is Libya

    Diyasena Friday, 18 March 2011 04:45 AM

Where we can live "life" without the LAND???

    Thilak Friday, 18 March 2011 04:37 AM

They are highly theoretical in their approach. Not practical at all.
I believe they will be in opposition forever providing entertainment to the nation. It is the hope of all sri lankans that JVP will be eradicated from all universities very soon.

    Hiru Friday, 18 March 2011 04:57 AM

    Hoda Wade

    hkd Friday, 18 March 2011 04:59 AM
