A person who is not trained to follow is not fit to lead. Whoever the leader and whatever the weaknesses of Ranil, Dayasiri should know to respect the Chair and voice his dissent in a manner not eroding the discipline of the membership, etc. If he feels that he cannot work with the leadership anymore, he should resign with dignity.

No future for the UNP under present leader. The board must hold inquiry for RANIL, he supported the president to appoint Chamal to the speaker chair without consulting the party and he did many things like this to remain in the opposition leader post for ever and enjoy privileges.

Dayasiri - why are yu fighting Ranil - he is old enough to be your father. It took Ranasinghe Premadasa decades of years to become prime minister. It also took Ranil so many many y years to become p.m., and even Mahinda Rajapaksa to become prime minister in spite of various allegations of him being the reporter. ears to become prime ministeRanil became prime minister when he least expected it, all because of untimely deaths of seniors like Athulathmudali, Gamini Dissanayake, and sudden death of R. Premadasa. Like Ranil & Mahinda, Learn the art of listening and patience - these are leadership qualities.
