The newborn baby was found dead in an unused well in Uppuweli, Trincomalee last evening by the local area police who had recieved a tip off, Police Spokesman S.P Jayakody told Daily Mirror online.
The infant's body is now at the Trincomalee hospital and police are conducting investigations. (KA)
