A Colombo High Court  fixed the trial against the son of a former Parliamentarian of Tamil Araus Katchi  and another accused for January 9, 2012 for conspiring to kill VIPs.
 
The  former Tamil Arasu Katchi Parliamentarian Sathasivam Kanagasundarm’s son Kanagaratnam Adithyan and another accused  Sandanam Gokulan alias Kanna were indicted by the Attorney General for conspiring, aiding and abetting to kill President Mahinda Raajapaksa, Defence Secretary Gothabaya Rajapaksa and Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka by suicide bomb attacks.
