The police shut down at least 17 restaurants operating in the Kurunegala area without a valid license, Kurunegala SSP Vas Gunawardena told Daily Mirror online.

According to the police some of these restaurants did not just offer food but were also used as a brothel house and even provided rooms for unmarried couples.

The owners of these restaurants were given a stern warning after their operations came to light, the police further added. (Daily Mirror online)

Likewise why don't they check the 5 star hotels too for unmarried couples.Or is it coz all the big shots are using these hotels they don't check on these.

Police check not only Kurunagala close Island wide Guest hoses. These are the places where prostitution breeding.
