Met Dept. don't split a word from you mouth about raining, if you say will drain definitely a very very high drought. Please say we will experience a no rain for another 3 months so only we get adequate rainfall to the county.

Oh really. Met department's roof must be leaking! What a timely prediction.
No rain no Friday, 24 August 2012 11:51 AM
Which means there will be no RAIN!!! Whenever the SL met department says something, its the opposite that happens....

Met dept. issues only a forecast and it changes when the condition of whether changes. Here in Brisbane the forecast changes hourly and some times it goes wrong. (eg. Yesterday they foretasted heavy rains here but no rain here on today). So, it's only a forecast and no one can say it accurately.

Weather.com is more accurate than our Met department. These showers could have been predicted and hence power cuts could have been avoided.

The met department is a joke.. a couple of weeks back they said no rain could be expected until September. In June they said heavy showers were expected for two weeks and not a drop of rain.
Sri Radharakshitha Friday, 24 August 2012 04:43 AM
Hope it brings relief to poor farmers
geriatrix Friday, 24 August 2012 04:18 AM

This is the period up to end of November the catchment areas of the main reservoirs for power generation gets most rain and the System Control Center ensures that the reservoirs are almost full without spilling and as such most hydro units are generated towards the end of November
