A traditional dancer was remanded today for allegedly threatening to post revealing pictures of his fiancée on facebook, if she did not provide him with her facebook password.

Police arrested the suspect and found pictures of the dancer and his 20-year-old girl friend stored on his computer. The girl had complained to the police about his threats.

The photographs on the computer had depicted intimate scenes of the young couple captured at various hotels. (Suranjith Perera)

Parents are the culprits who give their children unnecessary freedom thinking that my son or daughter will never do things bad. You know why our economy going Kota Uda? Because now even SriLankan Airlines has started a new Facebook Page. What a joke man. Airlines must concentrate on efficient routes and other opportunities like organising conga dances to grab olympics instead of doing stupid things like opening Facebook pages.This will only help Facebook stock prices to shoot up and SriLankan shares to go into the bokkuwa like our economy.Though I know nothing about economics, the people who advise me tell me so.
