all the thing happening because of your education system. and father who got in to this kind of habit is not accepted at all.i think his father even did not pass two class.that is the reason.

grade 5 scholarship should be stoped. Nowhere in the world the child is labelled at very early age that few are very able child and some are weak child. When they grow , they are growing with same weak mentality. All those pass this exam is not brillient and all those failed are not stupid. I don't knw when our education minister will open his eyes.

I failed my Grade 5 examination many years ago and unlike today I did not have a school to continue studies at mine was a " Primary School". I could not enter college. My parents got me to sit for other leading schools in Colombo and I made it to one of them which changed my life. I am still grateful to the school that too me in. I ended up as an engineer working for a multinational company overseas.

What the govt does not realize is that without a good education we will never prosper literally and economically. The root cause of most problems could be traced to the education system.

    Dear concerned father :
You forgot all the are not the same . You should be happy the child tried his best and whilst the other candidates fell below his child .You deserve three size this punishment. Definitely you child is much better than you .Please accept this to become a better father or else you child would prosper without you.
