Family of four hacked to death

Four persons including three women were hacked to death inside their house in the Katiyawa area in Eppawala, last night.
Police media spokesman Ajith Rohana said that the suspect, who is the brother of the of the owner of the house (49) was taken into custody a short while ago.
During the investigations it was revealed that a long standing land dispute had lead to the tragic incident.
The victims were identified as Seetha Hemalatha (55), Malini Hemalatha (49), Niluka Pathirana (23) and Madushanka Perera (23), SP Rohana said. (Supun Dias)

    sad to note we have some animals among humans.... especially in SL... ppl need to be educated about the value of life from kindergarten...... SHAME....
