The UNP today charged that the ‘Lessons Learnt Truth and Reconciliation Commission’ appointed by President Mahinda Rajapakse was created by the government only to please the international community.

Speaking to journalists in Colombo today, UNP MP Lakshman Kiriella said that they hoped the Commission would not suffer the same fate which the Udulagama commission suffered in the recent past. (YP)
