Water Board is responsible for providing an uninterrupted service to their consumers. However, it does not have a proper water management service in order to get this task completed. Therefore, we have to depend on the rain god for forever.

SL is an island with enough sea water. I dont know why we haven't explore the possibilityof Sea Water Reverse Osmosis System for our drinking and personal use.

we use pure drinking water for the toilet flushing and washing the car,this cannot go on like this,their is no sustitute for pure water. Try to use the underground tube wells for those perposes and keep the drinking water bathing and drinking only.

Since those in power have not prepared for this contingency by creating water desalinating plants run on Geothermal plants let those who live in Colombo get used to coconut water and when that runs out drink sea water.

Govt need to consider of the big hotels that consume most of the water. If SL keeps on building new hotels and apartments water supply is not going to last too long

the truth is my boy, is that the overflow of the water is caused because the DAM is full of MUD.. so there is no place for the water to be stored, and you know what happened. now we don't have water. wonder who they are gonna blame now.?

Wasn't it told by the media ( i think just before the indian cricket team came over here) that the Mauosokaley Resvior was full and they had opened 2 sluice gates to let go of the excess water!!! What happened to all of that water ???
