A tourist from the United Kingdom had been taken into custody for abusing and obstructing duties of a medical officer of the Arachhcikanda Government Hospital.

The Police said that the suspect was staying at a rented house in Tiranagama. A young woman had taken the latter for treatment to the hospital.
The doctor said the tourist was drunk when he called over at the hospital with the woman.
