United States Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake will visit Sri Lanka next week. During his visit between September 12 and 14, he will meet government officials and members of the opposition.

His visit precedes that of United Nations Human Rights Chief Navaneetham Pillay later this year. Blake who was the former Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives last visited the country in August 2011. (DS)

    I think TNA is what they meant by opposition. Last time Mr. Blake visited he met with the GoSL & TNA. Others were not high up on his list.
