we sri lankans shall take this matter very seriously. i am one person who is involved in this matter. we shall stand together to make the entire world educated about the position of sri lanka. compare the the atitude of amaricans. though they have violated human rights in greater way yet thay endosed obamas act. foget the differences and stop talking bullshit as above. hail sri lanka.

    Godaya Saturday, 07 May 2011 11:14 AM

THE PANEL ONLY WANTS UN TO "INQUIRE". WHY ALL THIS FUSS?

    Priyanka Saturday, 07 May 2011 02:12 PM

Sri Lankan society is divied into two; one is the victims of war crimes and their supporters. the other is the war criminals and their supporters.

    Ranjith.BG Saturday, 07 May 2011 01:49 PM

Inquire what? War is over. Same like Osama prabakaran and his followers gone. If others want still separte state please go to your mother land Tamil nadu and join with them over 60 million tamils there. Keep mouth shut we are lions again never happen like past. Even who took over power.

    Darwin Saturday, 07 May 2011 02:02 PM

Soon the Secretary General will have to start working overtime to read these resolutions and of course the signature being collected at bus stops and railway stations.

    gona Saturday, 07 May 2011 02:05 PM

Correct, just ignore the report, by addressing it you are giving it legitimacy.

    RD Saturday, 07 May 2011 01:46 PM

Daily mirror should publish the content of the passed resolution and also the evidences the Bar Council have to contradict the report. Bar Council is a legal body and NOT a political party. They should come out with facts and Proofs. Especially when challenging a UN Report.
Talk from your mind and not from your heart to defend MR.

    DeSlva Saturday, 07 May 2011 01:32 PM

what else can you do:? except risk a white van

    Yuri Saturday, 07 May 2011 01:42 PM

How much you all got it for this cheap show?

    Nalin Saturday, 07 May 2011 01:09 PM

Kindly take time to read the report fully and try to understand it.

    GEMUNU Saturday, 07 May 2011 12:58 PM

My dear brothers,In 1989 when innocent sinhalese youth were killde everyone stood against the UNP governtment and the army.Bt when innocent tamils are killed no one to stand on behalf of them.

    Goka Saturday, 07 May 2011 12:55 PM

Well done. As a die-hard UNPer who want Ranil out I welcome this unanimous resolution.

    Manamperi Saturday, 07 May 2011 11:27 AM

Try to inquire your neighbour's affairs if you can. Do you have a right to do so??
