Attack on JSC Sec; Assailant used fake number plate

The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) filing an investigation report on the attack on the Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) informed the Mount Lavinia Magistrate that the assailants had come in a vehicle with a fake number plate.

ASP Dharmadasa Pathiraja of the CCD told court that this was uncovered following an investigation conducted covering more than 450 vehicles of same model and type. (M.S.Perera)
