Applications for re-correction of A/L results open from 29th Dec

The Department of examinations said today that applications for recorrections of the results of the Advanced Level examination would be open from the 29th of December 2011 to the 9th of January 2012. The Examination Department issued results of the Advanced Level examination concluded inAugust on the 25th of December. There were continuous reports of the exam results being inaccurate. The Department of examinations have continued to maintain that the only error that occurred was with the district and Island rankings.

However, many students have complained that the results that were issued to them do not correspond with the examinations they were candidates for. All candidates of the Advanced Level exam have the option of requesting re marking of the students examination papers.( H.F)

By default it is better to re-correct all the papers and release again.
