Preliminary Investigations have revelealed that the August GCE Advanced Level results mishap was due to three data entry operators feeding the same results to the Examination Department database Youth Affais and Skills development Minister Dulles Allahapperuma said today. He made these remarks at a news briefing held at Nipunataha Piayasa in Narahenpita.

Or dear, Isn't there any validation to detect duplicate entries? It is hard to accept this. It should give 'unique index violation' exception.

If three Data Entry Operators can spoil whole process, how can we rely on these results? Even in a normal org. there are few steps to avoid mistakes, which could happen in Data Entry process. Why Examination Dept. can't adopt these simple steps to avoid BIG mistakes...
