Accident in Siyambalanduwa

A motor car ran off the road and fell into a wayside culvert in Kotagoda on the Siyambalanduwa – Akkarapattuwa Road causing the death of a woman and causing serious injuries to six others on board. The injured were rushed to Madinagala Hospital and transferred to the Ampara General Hospital. A three year old child was among those injured. The deceased Sitthi Janitha (47) and the injured were members of one family from the Akkarapattuwa area. The Siyambalanduwa Police are conducting inquiries into the accident.

    6 injured and 1 dead, so 7 people were travelling in a car, by law you cannot take more than 4 people in a car, you can take 5 in a car only if the rear seat has 3*3 point seat belt, their is lot to change in SL

    Some of these drivers are not fit to drive even a bullock carts but they are behind driver's seat and causing all havoc in the country and the authorities are deaf and blind. Innocent people are getting killed daily
