The request made by Yoshitha Rajapaksa in High Court seeking court permission to travel abroad for a medical treatment was fixed for consideration on September 28 by the Colombo High Court Judge A.A.R. Heiyanthuduwa today.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son has sought court permission to travel to Australia for a month to undergo a surgery.
Earlier, Kaduwela Magistrate had imposed a travel ban on the Yoshitha over an inquiry conducted against him on money laundering charges. (Shehan Chamika Silva)

It is very surprising to note the trend of falling sick these guys once they get arrested or wanted by the law. The other issue is why they need to go abroad for such treatment and whether the local medical facilities are not capable enough.

Don't let him go, there's NO reason. I hope the judge will resist and not be afraid to take the correct decision.
