Yoshitha’s Mt. Lavinia land to be surveyed

Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate Sulochana Weerasinghe today ordered the land belonging to Yoshitha Rajapaksa and his grandaunt Daisy Forestat in Mihindu Mawatha, Mt. Lavinia be surveyed on September 20.

The court was informed that the document relating to purchase of the land, valued at Rs. 50 million, including the land deed were questionable.(Dayarathna Pathirana)

The inordinate delay in investigating the illegal wealth of the Politicians of the past regime is unacceptable. Cannot understand why our sleuths are unable to connect one to the other and get to the bottom. Unless, otherwise the delay is purposeful at the request of those presently holding the reins. In the end it will not be surprising if all suspects go scot free !
