Van rams to High tension power line - four injured

Two passengers of a van and two other girls who were walking beside the road were injured when the van knocked against a high tension electric supply post at Kiribathkumbura on the Colombo-Kandy main road today.

Police said some of the victims were hospitalised because of burn injuries.

The four victims were undergoing treatment at the Peradeniya Hospital. (Senerath Bandara)

    These Van/Bus/Three-wheeler and Motorbike drivers have no regards any human life on the road, they only think of how to get from point A to B fast. Reckless and traffic ordinance violators should be removed from ever being on a public road.
